Police later found two opioid pills in his pocket and arrested him on several charges, including driving under the influence.The video, now released publicly, adds a new layer to the story. He says, “Thank you so much… all right, you got it, thank you, bye.”Then he tells officers clearly, “I was just talking with the president.”Woods has known Trump for years. During Trump’s first term, Woods received the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
The two have stayed in touch since then.

Later in the clip, Woods walks past a police car and speaks to a man identified by TMZ as his manager. Parts of that conversation are hard to hear, but reports say Woods mentioned that the president was “very apologetic.”

According to the Martin County Sheriff’s Office, Woods showed clear signs of being unwell at the scene. Officers described him as tired, sweaty, and unsteady.In another clip, Woods is seen kneeling on the roadside. He explains the crash in simple words: “I looked down at my phone, and all of a sudden… boom!”Police said he was speeding on a residential road and tried to pass a truck.
His vehicle clipped a trailer and flipped onto its side.When officers searched him, they found two pills marked “M367,” a form of hydrocodone used for strong pain. His eyes were described as bloodshot and his pupils very wide.Woods agreed to a breath test, which showed no alcohol. However, he refused a urine test. Officers said this made it harder to confirm what caused his condition.During a field test, Woods struggled to keep balance. The sheriff later said he was “cooperative” but clearly not fit to drive.This is not the first time Woods has faced such trouble. He had a similar arrest in 2017 and a serious crash in 2021 that led to major leg injuries.
