WWE Monday Night RAW presented the March 30 episode from Madison Square Garden. It featured some major surprise names to start the show. Following that, it featured a brawl between Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi, Gunther returning to take out Seth Rollins, and Liv Morgan beating down Stephanie Vaquer.
Moreover, it also presented three huge title matches. The show came to an end with CM Punk viciously beating down Roman Reigns to get some revenge ahead of their main event match at WrestleMania 42.
What happened in the opening segment of WWE RAW ?
Cody Rhodes made a surprise appearance to open the show. However, he was cut off with the shocking return of Stephanie McMahon. She tried to warn Rhodes about her WrestleMania 42 opponent, Randy Orton, and said that he didn’t know this version of Orton. Both exchanged some heated words about their past and Stephanie slapped Cody before exiting the ring.
WWE World Tag Team Championship match
The Usos defended their WWE World Tag Team Championships against Vision members, Logan Paul and Austin Theory. The exciting and fast-paced tag match ended with Paul knocking out Jimmy with the brass knuckles. Jey took out Theory, who fell on a knocked out Jimmy, and the referee counted the three, making Vision the new champions.
WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship match
Lash Legend and Nia Jax defended their WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships against Bayley and Lyra Valkyria.
However, much like the last two weeks, the match ended in a DQ after Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss and The Bella Twins interfered, meaning Lash and Nia retained their titles.
Penta vs. Kofi Kingston
Penta defended his WWE Intercontinental Championship against the veteran star Kofi Kingston. Both superstars delivered an enthralling title showdown, and the final moments saw Penta countering Kingston’s suplex attempt with the Destroyer to win and retain his title.
IYO Sky vs. Raquel Rodriguez
This was a singles match between IYO Sky and Raquel Rodriguez. It was a fast-paced match overall. The bout’s end saw IYO taking out Asuka, who bullied her partner, Kairi Sane. However, this distraction allowed Rodriguez to hit the Tijuana Bomb on IYO to pick up the win.
CM Punk attacks Roman Reigns
Roman Reigns came out in the main event segment of the show. Before he could say anything, CM Punk stormed down the ring and laid a vicious attack on him as a counter to Reigns’ attack on him last week.
