Filmmaker Vipin Das has officially announced the third part of the ‘Vaazha’ film series. The film is titled ‘Vaazha 3—Biopic of a Billion Girls,’ and he took to his social media handle to share the news on Tuesday.
Just one day before, he had hinted at this with a short and mysterious post. Now, he has confirmed everything with full details.

Vipin shared a long message about how the ‘Vaazha’ films have grown. He wrote, “The Vaazha franchise has grown into something far bigger than we ever imagined. Thanks to all the love you have given us! We launched Vaazha with the intention of introducing fresh talent to cinema, and we are committed to carrying that legacy forward in all future chapters.”
Girls take the lead
This time, the story will focus on girls. This is a big change from the earlier films, which had boys in the main roles. Vipin said this idea came from audience feedback. People wanted something new, and he listened. He also said the series will always support new talent. It will continue to give chances to fresh writers, actors, directors, and music creators. “Driven by your overwhelming response and suggestions, we are thrilled to announce: Vaazha 3—Biopic of a Billion Girls,” he further added.
About the ‘Vaazha’ franchise
The first film, Vaazha: Biopic of a Billion Boys, was released in 2024 and became a big success, which was directed by Anand Menen, as he wrote, “Like always, the directorial baton passes to Viswan Sreejith, who has been a vital part of my direction team. Production is set to begin by next year. We know it’s a long wait, but we promise to make it worth it!” On April 2, the second installment of the film, ‘Vaazha 2: Biopic of a Billion Bros,’ was released.
The film became a box office hit. Even without big stars, the film worked well. It featured social media faces like Hashir, Alan, Vinayak, and Ajin.Vaazha 3 will be directed by Viswan Sreejith. He was part of Vipin’s assistant team. Music will be handled by Ankit Menon again. The film will go on floors next year. Vipin said, “We know it’s a long wait, but we promise to make it worth it!”Additionally, he also mentioned that auditions are not open right now. They will start only after the script is ready.
