The case has raised questions about where it should be handled, with Doncic arguing Slovenia is the appropriate jurisdiction, given that both children live there.
“Happy birthday my little princess! You bring the most joy to my life! I love you, I miss you so much and I can’t wait to see you soon 💕💕❤️❤️,” Doncic shared on Instagram.
That distance has not been easy. Reports in mid-March suggested that during a December visit for the birth of his second daughter, Olivia, Doncic asked for their older child, Gabriela, to return with him to California. The request was declined. What followed, according to reports, was a tense exchange that led to police being called.
No charges were filed.
