‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ begins with Garima dancing joyfully with Samaya. Everyone enjoys watching their dance moves. Nandini observes that Karan is behaving unusually.
Dev and Parth also joined the dancing. Tulsi notices Nandini’s discomfort and pulls her aside. Tulsi shares that she went to Malabar Hills and saw Karan with a cake going to meet Madhu and Danny. Tulsi explains this to Nandini. Nandini becomes upset and tells Tulsi that Karan has changed completely. Tulsi says she met that woman. Nandini tells Tulsi that only Karan can answer her questions. Nandini rushes to confront Karan while Tulsi tries to stop her.
Confrontation at the party
Nandini starts yelling at Karan loudly in front of everyone. Mihir asks what Nandini wants to say. Tulsi instructs Samira to take Garima upstairs away from the drama. Karan asks Nandini why she is creating such a scene. Karan denies doing anything wrong and tells Nandini to stop accusing him of having an affair. Everyone becomes shocked. Tulsi tries to tell Nandini that there might be some misunderstanding. Karan tells Nandini she has gone crazy and reveals that she was following him.
Nandini says Karan is lying. Karan desperately asks her what he needs to do to prove his innocence. Nandini demands that he admit the truth. Karan insists he is telling the truth. Karan loses control of his emotions and doesn’t know what else to say.Sobha tries to calm Karan down. Tulsi tells Karan there is only one way to find out the real truth. Tulsi asks Karan to take Baa’s oath because she believes Karan will not lie under oath.
Karan holds Baa’s photograph and swears to Nandini that he does not have any affair with anyone. Karan tells everyone that he loves only Nandini and will remain honest with her forever. Nandini starts crying and leaves for her room. Sobha asks Karan what misunderstanding Nandini is having.
Tulsi tells him to trust her, but gives him time to prove his innocence to Nandini.
Pari’s mistake with medicine
Pari receives a call from Ajay asking her to bring Garima and meet Sunny.
Pari takes Garima to meet Sunny. Priya becomes irritated seeing Pari and asks Indrani why Pari came. Pari asks Ajay when he gave the first dose of medicine. Pari learns it was five hours ago, so they decide to give another dose. Indrani tells her husband that Sunny is not feeling well, and Ajay is only focused on his love story. Sunny gets up and starts vomiting.
Priya calls the doctor immediately. Pari sends Garima to Sunny’s room to play with him.
The doctor checks Sunny and discovers that he took the wrong medicine, but he is completely fine now. Pari apologizes to Ajay for giving the wrong medicine. Indrani and Priya start taunting Pari about her mistake.Priya actually saw Pari give the wrong medicine, but did not stop her because she wanted to take revenge on her. Ajay tells Pari to stop blaming herself. Indrani tells Ajay that some people never change. Pari tells Ajay he should not call her anymore and leaves.
The hospital mystery
Karan has a conversation with a doctor about moving to India from the USA. The doctor tells Karan that his condition is improving slowly and advises him to keep providing support. Gautam learns from Aryan that Karan visited a clinic with a woman. Gautam asks Aryan to keep tracking him. Aryan compliments Tulsi’s cooking and tells Gautam that Karan was with another woman. Gautam asks Aryan to take pictures and send them.
Aryan sends the picture to Gautam.Gautam calls Tulsi and tells her that Karan is having an affair. Tulsi says there might be some misunderstanding. Gautam asks why Karan is at the hospital with a woman. Gautam sends the picture to Tulsi. When Tulsi looks at the picture, she is shocked to see that this is not the same woman from Malabar Hills. Tulsi remembers that Karan took her and Baa’s oath, swearing his innocence. Tulsi becomes confused about why Karan is lying to her.
