Perin Malde’s journey in showbiz has taken years of real effort. Starting out as a child artist, he became a familiar face after playing Luv in Ramayan, which featured Gurmeet Chaudhary and Debina Bonnerjee as Lord Ram and Sita.
Years later, after quietly growing and learning, Perin has now stepped into films with Bhooth Bangla, directed by Priyadarshan and starring Akshay Kumar. For the young actor, this moment is not just a debut, but the result of years of groundwork.Talking about his experience of working with Priyadarshan, Perin did not hide his excitement. He shared that being on a set led by a filmmaker he had grown up watching felt almost unreal. “Working with Priyadarshan sir felt unreal in the best way possible.
I’ve grown up watching his films, so being directed by him every day on set was something I never thought would happen so early in my journey,” he said.He also spoke about the director’s approach, which left a strong impression on him. According to Perin, Priyadarshan’s clarity and calmness stood out the most during the shoot. “What amazed me the most is how calm and clear he is – he doesn’t overcomplicate things, he just knows exactly what he wants,” he added.
For Perin, this was not just another acting job but a valuable learning phase. “For me, it was not just about acting in a film, it was about learning from someone who has shaped so many iconic stories.
I know this experience is going to stay with me for a long time.”Sharing screen space with Akshay Kumar was another big moment for him. Perin admitted that he walked onto the set with a certain nervousness, unsure of what to expect.
However, that feeling didn’t last long. “Working alongside Akshay Kumar in Bhooth Bangla turned out to be far more than just a professional milestone for me,” he said.He recalled how the atmosphere on set was surprisingly relaxed, thanks to Akshay’s nature. “I walked onto the set expecting a serious, high-pressure environment, especially given his stature, but what I experienced was completely different. Akshay sir has this incredible ability to make everyone feel comfortable instantly,” Perin shared. The young actor further spoke about how simple moments off-camera helped him settle in. “I remember being quite nervous initially, unsure of how to interact, but he broke the ice most effortlessly. Whether it was pulling everyone together for a quick game or just casually chatting between shots, he made the atmosphere feel warm and welcoming.”At the same time, Perin observed how focused Akshay Kumar was when the camera started rolling. “What I truly admired was how he could switch from being so playful off-camera to completely focused the moment the shot was ready,” he said, adding that watching this balance closely became an important lesson for him. With Bhooth Bangla, Perin Malde has marked a new chapter in his career – one that blends his early beginnings with a promising future ahead.
