Ranchi: The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has set up an extradition cell in order to bring back the persons accused of organised crime in the state, who have taken shelter in foreign countries. The additional director general (ADG) of CID, Manoj Kaushik, said, “The extradition cell would act as a nodal agency for the state agencies and coordinate with the central agencies, including the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) and the Union ministry of external affairs, for extradition of the criminals. It would issue lookout, blue corner, and red corner notices against the criminals and monitor the extradition process.
