Add that to earlier liens totalling about USD 4.48 million (USD 4,482,273) for 2022 and 2023, and you get the USD 5.7 million (USD 5,725,257) in total. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) now has a legal claim on some of his assets until he pays up.However, it’s important to note that Alicia Keys isn’t named in any of the paperwork.
Although the acclaimed singer is married to Swizz Beatz, the tax debt is all in his name, based on his individual filings.For the unversed, this isn’t the first time Swizz Beatz has been tangled with the IRS. He’s had tax troubles before, going back more than a decade. In 2016, for example, he paid off more than USD 650,000 after being behind on taxes from earlier years.
