Aneet Padda is mourning the loss of her beloved grandfather. The young actress, known for her role in ‘Saiyaara’, shared a touching tribute during the ongoing shoot of her new project. She posted a photo holding his hand along with a deeply personal message.

Aneet lost her grandfather recently, marking one of the most difficult periods in her life. She described him as the only love of her life in her emotional post. The actress chose to disable comments on Instagram to process her grief privately. The tribute came in the early hours of Tuesday while she continued working on ‘Shakti Shalini’.

Struggles on the path to ‘Saiyaara’

Aneet grew up in Amritsar with a strong passion for acting from childhood. Her first screen appearance was in a small role in ‘Salaam Venky’ which was directed by Revathi. She later gained attention with her performance in the series ‘Big Girls Don’t Cry’.‘Saiyaara’ brought a major turning point in Aneet’s career. The film, directed by Mohit Suri, released on July 18, 2025. She played Vaani Batra who is an aspiring journalist and poet, opposite Ahaan Panday as Krrish Kapoor. The film turned out to be a blockbuster.
