TIRUPATI: A 17-year-old boy was bludgeoned to death with cement bricks by his uncle over suspicion of being in an illicit relationship with the latter’s wife, near Pamurayi village in Anantapur rural mandal on Saturday.According to Anantapur rural police inspector N Sekhar, the uncle had for long suspected that the boy, an intermediate student of a local college, was having an affair with his wife. They had several altercations over this in the past, and the uncle had sternly warned the boy to stay away from his wife, police said.Boy murdered with beer bottles in brutal attackOn Saturday night, the accused, who was in an inebriated condition, asked the boy to meet him on the pretext of sorting out the issue.

He took him to an isolated cement bricks factory on the outskirts of the village, where the two entered into a heated argument again. In a fit of rage, the accused allegedly attacked the boy with beer bottles, bludgeoned him to death with cement bricks, and fled. Police visited the crime scene and shifted the body to the GGH in Anantapur. A case has been filed and a manhunt to nab the accused launched.
