Makers share iconic poster
The film’s official handle on X (formerly Twitter) shared a poster from ‘
Baahubali 2
’. The poster is from Prabhas’ iconic fierce walk in the palace. Sharing the poster they wrote, “Heysaa….Rudhrassa…The sound that still echoes in our ears. 9 years for #Baahubali2.”Speaking about the film, ‘Baahubali 2’ tells the story of Amarendra Baahubali, Bhallaladeva, and Mahendra Baahubali. The main talking point of the franchise was the question and mystery revolving around why Kattappa, his most loyal servant, killed Baahubali.
Fans react to the poster
Fans celebrated the film’s success as they wrote, “Bahubali jayahoooo. The bench mark for Indian movie. Opened doors for many others.” Another added, “9 years for the legend that it was, 9 years of the goosebumps it gave, still represents the PEAK of Indian Cinema to this day, imo. Many tried and failed to replicate the glory ever since,” while another wrote, “Masterpiece is a small word for this classic one.“ “The day history was created,” one wrote.
About ‘Baahubali’ franchise
The film collected over Rs 1800 crore worldwide, making it the first Indian film to enter the 1000-crore club.In 2025, the makers released ‘Baahubali: The Epic’, which is a remastered single-film version of the two-part saga, combining ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ and ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion’. For the re-release, the movie saw huge success at the box office. It is now streaming on Netflix.There are talks about the third instalment of the film as the makers have suggested that it will happen however, it is not in the making anytime soon.
