Cure By Design expands retail presence with second Bengaluru store

Cure By Design, a fast-growing player in India’s plant-based wellness space, has announced the launch of its second experiential retail store on Lavelle Road, Bengaluru. The move marks a key milestone in the company’s expansion strategy and reflects the growing acceptance of hemp-derived wellness solutions in India.

The new store builds on the success of its Indiranagar outlet, which has served not just as a retail point but as an education-driven space where consumers can better understand plant-based formulations. Designed as a guided discovery environment, the Lavelle Road store aims to encourage informed decision-making by allowing customers to explore products at their own pace. Founded in 2019, the company has evolved significantly from its initial portfolio of 14 products to over 110 SKUs.

This growth has been driven by a feedback-led development approach, combining clinical insights with consumer needs to create a structured and credible product range in a still-emerging category. A key differentiator for the brand has been its strong clinical collaboration. The company works with over 100 healthcare practitioners and 400 veterinary clinics across India, integrating its formulations into treatment protocols for pain management, anxiety, neurological support, and palliative care.

Cure By Design also follows a dual formulation philosophy, blending Ayurvedic principles with modern scientific research. Its expanding product formats—including tinctures, capsules, and gummies—are designed to improve accessibility and user experience. Speaking on the launch, founder Daanish Matheen emphasised that consumer demand in this category is driven as much by awareness as by access. With this expansion, Cure By Design aims to further strengthen its presence in urban markets while continuing to build trust and awareness around plant-based wellness in India.
