DJ operator was arrested on Monday
Haridwar: A 30-year-old DJ operator was arrested on Monday for allegedly hitting his friend on the head with a brick in a fit of rage after a spat, leading to the latter’s death in Haridwar, police said.Deepak Saxena, 30, was taken to a hospital in critical condition on Thursday and later referred to a higher centre, where he died on Saturday. SHO (City) KS Rana said, “A case has been registered against Saurabh Kori under BNS section 105 (culpable homicide not amounting to murder). Further investigation is underway.”In a separate incident, a 35-year-old man was found murdered in Atmalpur village under Bahadrabad police station limits on Monday morning. Rajveer Singh, a resident of Bijnor, was working in a private company in SIDCUL and was living in the area. Police said his head was crushed with a hammer. The murder weapon and liquor bottles were recovered from the spot.
