The preview also offers fans their first glimpse of the late actor Eric Dane, who passed away on February 19, 2026, after a year-long battle with ALS at the age of 53.
What the ‘Euphoria’ season 3 episode 3 trailer shows
The trailer was released with the caption “Happily ever after..?” and it is safe to say the question mark is doing a lot of work.
Cassie’s and Nate’s high school friends, including Rue, Jules, and even Nate’s ex, Maddy, played by Alexa Demie, have all gathered for the wedding. But beneath the surface, something is clearly wrong.Cassie’s sister Lexi, played by Maude Apatow, asks her what is wrong, and Cassie, in tears, brushes it off by saying it is her wedding day. Meanwhile, the groom appears to be unwell, and Jules confronts Nate’s father, Cal, played by Eric Dane, whom she hooked up with in the premiere episode.
Other scenes in the preview show Rue, played by Zendaya, reconnecting with Laurie, played by Martha Kelly, seemingly unaware of the danger she faces, caught between Laurie and strip club owner and arms dealer Alamo, played by Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.
The full returning and new cast of ‘Euphoria’ season 3
Returning cast members include Chloe Cherry, Dominic Fike, Nika King, and Colman Domingo. The season has also added several new faces, including Sharon Stone, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Natasha Lyonne, Rosalía, Marshawn Lynch, Homer Gere, Sam Trammell, and Asante Blackk.
The composer controversy surrounding ‘Euphoria’ season 3
Ahead of the season 3 premiere on April 12, the show faced some behind-the-scenes turbulence when composer Labrinth, who had been part of ‘Euphoria’ for seasons 1 and 2, exited the series. His Instagram posts suggested he had not been treated well on the show. Hans Zimmer, who had been announced as a co-composer, will now be the sole composer credited for the score.
