Intel demos tools built with TCS, Wipro and other partners using Core Ultra Series 3 processors

Intel introduced its Core Ultra Series 3 or Panther Lake processors at CES earlier this year. The US chip giant’s latest processors are now available to PC makers and software companies.

Brands like Asus and HP have started launching laptops powered by the new chip. Meanwhile, companies like TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra have also adopted CPUs manufactured with Intel’s 18A node to build various AI tools and software. Intel showcased demos of some of these AI tools at a recent event.During the event, several tech companies and educators demonstrated generative AI solutions optimised for Intel AI PCs, prioritising speed and privacy.

For example, Infinity Learn’s AINA provides fast exam preparation for students, while CoRover’s BharatGPT and Tech Mahindra’s Project Indus provide localised LLMs supporting dozens of Indian dialects. TCS and Wipro have introduced AI assistants to automate office chores and provide a secure workplace for the workforce.

These tools leverage on-device processing on Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, which can be run locally on devices like HP’s OmniStudio X or ASUS’s Zenbook S 14, without needing the cloud.

Here’s the full list of AI tools that were showcased:

  • AINA – AI Mentor by Infinity Learn
  • Knolens – Ask anything. Own everything. by Pienomial
  • CoRover – BharatGPT by BharatGPT
  • Gen AI Experience on Intel AI PC by Intel
  • The Indus Project – Educational LLM by Tech Mahindra
  • End User Productivity Assistant by TCS
  • Wipro Live Workspace – AI PC Solutions by Wipro

Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors: Key highlights

According to Intel, the new Core Ultra CPUs will handle a wide range of tasks, from productivity to gaming and content creation. In some SKUs, the number of graphics cores will increase by 50% to enhance the visual experience for gamers and content creators. The CPUs have been launched across a wide range of devices, from ultrabooks and 2-in-1s to devices meant for creators.

This will ensure that PC manufacturers can develop flexible designs without compromising performance or energy efficiency. The US chip giant also highlights significant efficiency gains across both tethered and mobile use cases. Under the Intel Evo programme, systems undergo rigorous testing to ensure real-world endurance when running the most frequently used applications.AI integration remains a cornerstone of the platform, with dedicated features to optimise video conferencing, eliminate background noise, and accelerate daily workflows. Additionally, the onboard Intel Arc graphics have been optimised to deliver better gaming and AI-powered creativity.
