“Malinga has a brilliant slower ball and can bowl 140-plus. With Sakib, that slower ball of his is equally impressive — he gets as much turn as an off-spinner with it. At the same arm speed, he can execute yorkers as well. With the way the IPL is evolving, you need variation,” pace bowling coach Aaron said.“One of our plans this year was to have bowlers who can offer something to the captain irrespective of the surface. If you look at Sakib and Malinga, they almost remove the surface from the equation with their skills,” Aaron added.
