Jake Dennis is among the many Formula E drivers captivated by the brilliance of the new GEN4 car. Unveiled on track on Tuesday, the GEN4 is capable of exceeding 335 km/h. The Andretti driver was full of praise for the car while also staying busy setting up his new home with fiancee Lexi Grace Boosey.

The couple were recently out shopping for plant pots for their new house.

Jake Dennis calls Formula E GEN4 “an absolute beast”

Speaking about the new car, Jake Dennis said, “It’s a new, exciting generation. The car is the biggest step Formula E has ever made across all its generations, and I think that shows just how much the technology has evolved over the years. People now want to see faster Formula E cars.”“I think that’s what the public have been calling for – quicker, faster cars – and honestly, that’s exactly what the GEN4 is.

It’s an absolute beast: super quick, looks incredible, and I think it’s going to be a real eye-opener for everyone,” he added.

On what fans can expect, Dennis said, “Exciting racing. That’s the bread and butter of Formula E – action-packed racing – and that’s something we won’t lose in the GEN4 era. We’ll still see energy management during races, which creates that action, with hundreds of overtakes, and that’s what fans and drivers both love.”

From a driver’s perspective, he added, “One thing we all get excited about is pure speed, acceleration and power. I’ve yet to drive the car, but the numbers it produces are out of this world. The acceleration will be even quicker than the GEN3 car, and the top speed will be well over 300 km/h. It’s incredibly exciting.”

Sharing a video of Dennis pushing a large trolley filled with plant pots, Boosey joked: “He lands and put straight back to work.”Dennis reposted the clip on his Instagram Stories, quipping that he perhaps should have chosen a smaller trolley. Boosey also shared a glimpse of herself and their pet, Billy, during the outing.Dennis will return to racing the following week at the Berlin E-Prix, with Rounds 7 and 8 scheduled for 2 and 3 May.Also read: Exclusive interview: Edoardo Mortara shines for Mahindra Racing this season, says “important to keep your feet on the ground”
