Migrant worker killed in Mapusa still unidentified

Mapusa: Mapusa police have not yet identified the migrant worker who was killed by another worker a week ago. “We are running a campaign to document the floating migrant population in the town.

Since the last four days, we have registered 83 homeless, and their names and details were recorded,” said PI Naveen Desai.Last week, police arrested Sawangkhoba Chaoba Singh, 43, a native of Assam. Desai said the victim was locally known as Ravi. Ravi was found in Bodgini, Mapusa, with a missing ear.He said on March 27, a fight broke out between the two men while drinking, and Singh allegedly killed Ravi in a fit of rage.
