New Delhi: Govt-owned NBCC has auctioned 14 lakh sq ft of commercial space in Bharat Business Park in South Delhi’s Sarojini Nagar for Rs 5,779 crore. This is the highest-ever sale value recorded in a single e-auction by National Buildings Construction Corporation (NBCC), the company said.The e-auction, which saw participation from international and domestic MNCs, other corporates and institutional buyers, had offered super built-up area of approximately 23.44 lakh sq ft across eight towers. Of this, super built-up area of approximately 14 lakh sq ft was auctioned in five towers.As per NBCC, average sale rate in the e-auction was Rs 41,207 per sq ft, which was 5% more than reserve price.“The funds realised through this e-auction will be utilised for financing various ongoing redevelopment works, supporting project completion timelines and meeting financial obligations under housing and urban affairs ministry,” NBCC said.
It will get a marketing fee of 1% of sale value. The agency has been developing and selling commercial space in South Delhi on behalf of govt.Bharat Business Park (BBP) will be developed as a modern commercial office complex to provide office infrastructure. It will feature solar power systems, solar street lighting, energy-efficient chillers and an intelligent building management system for optimised operations. The complex will also offer centralised air-conditioning, advanced safety and surveillance systems, and 100% power backup. It will have a three-level basement parking facility for over 2,800 vehicles.
