Nesco concert drugs case: Absconding accused held in Maharashtra while fleeing to Goa | Mumbai News – The Times of India

MUMBAI: Raigad police apprehended absconding accused Ayush Vicky Sahitya (24), a resident of Ulhasnagar, while he was allegedly fleeing to Goa with two friends in a car on Friday night. The Vanrai police had alerted Raigad police after receiving information that Sahitya was escaping via the Mumbai-Goa highway. Acting on the tip-off, a Poladpur police team along with the Local Crime Branch set up a blockade and nabbed him in Poladpur around 10.30 pm. Police said Sahitya had distributed a drug known as “ecstasy” at the music concert. He has since been handed over to the Vanrai Police Station.
