Nissan driver Oliver Rowland and his family are vacationing in Koh Samui in Thailand as their home city, Dubai, continues to face the effects of tensions in the Middle East. The reigning Formula E champion has been travelling across the globe ever since Dubai started experiencing explosions.
Rowland’s wife has now shared happy glimpses from their time in Thailand as they enjoy the beach.

Taking to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Oliver Rowland’s wife Lauren Rowland shared a picture of their four-year-old daughter Harper as she played on the beach in an orange swimming costume. The little girl smiled for the camera as the sun shone upon her.Lauren had earlier shared a picture of their four-month-old son Hennie as she held him in her arms.
She also shared a glimpse of how they enjoyed watching the sunset by the beach. They were seated on cane chairs on the beach as they soaked in the beauty of the setting sun over the blue sea.

What’s keeping Oliver Rowland busy this year
When not racing in Formula E, Oliver Rowland has also been cheering for his protege Arvid Lindblad. The 18-year-old made his Formula 1 debut with Racing Bulls this season and had his mentor, Oliver Rowland, by his side at his debut in Australia.
Rowland had flown from Dubai to Melbourne for the F1 season opener, the Australian Grand Prix, earlier this month.
Last month, Rowland also shared glimpses from his time on and off the track. Among them were moments from the construction of his new house, him racing at different Formula E venues, and having Arvid Lindblad by his side during a race weekend.After winning the Season 11 Formula E World Championship, Rowland is currently seventh in the Drivers’ Standings this season with 49 points.
He has secured three podiums so far, including second place in Sao Paulo (Round 1), third place in Mexico City (Round 2), and third place in Jeddah (Round 5).He was recently overtaken by Porsche driver Nico Muller in the Drivers’ Standings, who moved ahead by just one point.Rowland has ample time to spend with his family as the Formula E season is currently on a one-month break after the Madrid E-Prix. He did not score any points in Madrid, finishing 16th.
