Samyuktha shares her experience working with the ‘very simple’ Vijay Sethupathi on ‘Slumdog: 33 Temple Road’. She recalls meeting him as a fan before their collaboration on Puri Jagannadh’s film. Actress Samyuktha will be seen in the upcoming film ‘Slumdog: 33 Temple Road’, working alongside Vijay Sethupathi. Ahead of the film’s release, the actress recently spoke about her experience working with him and highlighted his nature, calling him a “very simple, very calm man of very few words.

In a conversation with India Today, Samyuktha shared a small memory engraved in her mind: the time she met Vijay Sethupathi at an event long before working with him. He doesn’t remember, but I do, because I was a fan,” she said. She then shared about meeting him again on the sets. She later talked about speaking with him on the sets, “Then we met again on the sets of Puri Sir’s film. We were both in our character looks. He was sitting under a tree, and I went and sat there too.

We just started talking,” she added.

Samyuktha also spoke about doing scenes with the ‘Maharaja’ actor. She described the scenes as “interesting” and “intense.” She also teased about her character, who is said to be “loud” and “very different” from what she has done before. Additionally, she added, “But he was very easy to work with.”The makers began shooting the film last year and have now completed it.

About ‘Slumdog: 33 Temple Road’

Talking about the film, directed by Puri Jagannadh, the film includes heavyweights with Tabu and Vijay Sethupathi in the lead roles. It also includes Duniya Vijay Kumar, Brahmanandam and VTV Ganesh, who are also part of the cast. The music is given by Harshavardhan Rameshwar. The film is expected to hit theatres in June and is slated for release in five languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.
