anchi: A 22-year-old man, employed as a school van driver, was arrested in the city for allegedly sexually abusing a three-year-old girl, police said on Thursday.“The minor on Wednesday informed her mother about the accused touching her inappropriately, through gestures. Based on the statement, an FIR under the POCSO Act was lodged on Wednesday late evening, and the driver was arrested,” the investigating police officer said.The accused was reportedly the driver of the van, in which the child used to go to her play school.“The man was arrested, and further investigation is underway. The child was sent for medical examination, and necessary counselling support is being arranged,” the police officer said.
