Filming for ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ season 5 is set to resume after a halt due to Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s legal battles and custody dispute. Reports indicate the show will continue, but Paul and Mortensen will not be featured. This decision follows earlier production pauses and cast refusal to work with Paul.
Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s abuse allegation investigations, along with their custody battle over their 2-year-old son Ever, had caused many other issues. The famed reality TV star’s ‘The Bachelorette’ appearance was cancelled altogether.
Other than that, the production for season 5 of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ was also halted when it was reported that all of the other cast members refused to work and be on the show if Paul was still a part of it.Now, according to latest reports, the show is back in action, and the production is also set to resume soon enough.

PEOPLE reports that the latest season of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ is all set and ready to resume production amid Paul and Mortensen’s legal battle.
As per the report, it has also been revealed that the show will continue to film; however, this time around, Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen will not be among the couples invited on the show. The filming had earlier been paused last month amid the couple’s legal battle, and the co-star’s refusal to work with Taylor.Regarding the matter, at the time of writing, neither Taylor nor Mortensen’s legal representatives have issued any statement.
About Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen’s caseEarlier this year, the estranged couple made headlines after they announced their split. Following this, one by one, new domestic abuse allegations came forward about both of them, and they were embroiled in three ongoing investigations. Taylor had already once been found guilty for an incident from 2023. During an argument with Mortensen, she had thrown a chair at him, which had accidentally gone and hit their child.
On April 14, it was clarified that the court would not be pursuing any charges against the ‘Mormon Wives’ alum.The two are, as of right now, involved in a custody battle over their son Ever.
