Khamzat Chimaev has once grabbed fans’ attention after his recently viral “I don’t care about inactivity remarks”. The UFC middleweight champion is currently deep in preparation for his upcoming bout.
He will defend his title against Sean Strickland at UFC 328. Notably, Chimaev is known for his intense work ethic and aggressive personality. The UFC star is leaving no stone unturned in his training camp. However, a recent viral video showed a lighter side of ‘Borz’ as he took a playful dig at close friend Arman Tsarukyan.In the clip, Chimaev was seen calling Tsarukyan from the gym after the lightweight contender failed to show up on time for a training session. The moment was clearly filled with humor. However, it also showed Chimaev’s serious mindset heading into the fight. His comments also touched on Tsarukyan’s recent activities outside the octagon. This included his training with influencers and social media personalities like Jake Paul.

Khamzat Chimaev is known for his no-nonsense attitude during fight camp, and even his jokes come with a sharp edge. In the viral video, he jokingly called Arman Tsarukyan a “sleeping machine”. He mocked him for being late to training. He suggested that Tsarukyan now prefers spending time with influencers rather than training with serious wrestlers. Chimaev even teased him by saying he should return to Jake Paul’s gym, hinting that his priorities may have shifted.
The comments, though playful, had some truth behind them. Arman Tsarukyan has recently been seen working with several social media personalities. He trained with Jake Paul during a visit to Armenia and has appeared on livestreams with popular creators like N3on and Adin Ross. This has increased his visibility outside MMA but also raised eyebrows among hardcore fans.Chimaev did not stop there.
