The Bollywood star wrote, “With immense gratitude and hearts full of love, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our baby boy today, 29th of March 2026.
Our family has grown, and with his arrival, our hearts have expanded in the most beautiful way.”She added, “Vayu is overjoyed to welcome his little brother and we feel deeply blessed by this precious new life who has filled our home with happiness and grace. We are happy to begin this beautiful new chapter as a family of four. With love, Sonam, Anand & Vayu.” Their first son Vayu, born in August 2022, is now a big brother.
Sonam Kapoor’s thoughts on motherhood
In a 2024 interview with India Today, Sonam had spoken openly about the challenges and joys of being a working mother.
She said, “One can never be prepared for motherhood. Whether you’re a stay-at-home mother or a working mother, everyone goes through mom guilt.” Sonam added, “The biggest conception about working moms is that people think we don’t care about our kids and that we care more about our work. It’s not true.
