New Delhi: A speeding truck allegedly mowed down a 19-year-old man on his motorcycle near west Delhi’s Paschim Vihar on Monday night. The driver of the offending truck was apprehended.The deceased was identified as Krishan Mohan, a resident of Peeragarhi camp.According to police, a PCR call was received around 11.15 pm about a road accident between a truck and a motorcycle on the road from Punjabi Bagh towards Peeragarhi. The accused truck driver allegedly abandoned the truck at the spot and fled.Police found Mohan dead along with his black motorcycle. The truck, bearing a Haryana number plate, was also found in an accidental condition at the spot. Police added that the deceased, Krishan Mohan, was not holding a driving licence.The accused driver, identified as 26-year-old Saurabh Kumar from UP’s Kannauj, was apprehended. A case was registered.
