The Pittsburgh Steelers recorded 10 wins and 7 losses in the last season, with a similar performance on the field in 2024.Unfortunately, the team witnessed brutal losses in the playoffs in both the seasons.
Ahead of the new season, it seems the Pittsburgh Steelers are focused on fixing the teamβs roster.
Pittsburgh Steelers tipped to reunite with 28 year old Donald Parham amid his brutal injuries
A few hours ago, Steelers Depotβs Joe Clark suggested that there is a possibility that the Pittsburgh Steelers could re-sign a deal with popular tight end, 28 year old Donald Parham after he failed to play in the last season.
Steelers Depotβs Joe Clark noted in a recent report, βThe Steelers liked Parham enough to sign him last offseason, but a torn Achilles in OTAs ended his seasonβ¦βSteelers Depotβs Joe Clark added, βObviously, thatβs a severe injury, but weβve seen athletes recover faster and more effectively from it in recent yearsβ¦βSteelers Depotβs Joe Clark continued, βPittsburgh would need to be comfortable with Parhamβs medicals, and they likely know where heβs at better than other teams.
But assuming his injury hasnβt completely zapped him of his athleticism, Parham could add depth to the tight end room.βWhile this has sparked a debate among fans, the Pittsburgh Steelers have maintained their distance from addressing any rumors of potentially re-signing Donald Parham. For the unversed, 28 year old Donald Parham was last seen on the field in 2023 when he played for the Los Angeles Chargers and recorded 27 receptions for 285 yards and four touchdowns, across 14 games that he played in.
Though this had many rooting for him, in August 2024, Donald Parham was released by the Los Angeles Chargers and he signed a deal with the Denver Broncosβ practice squad. In 2024, Donald Parham did not appear in any of the regular season games as he spent majority of the time on the practice squad. In February 2025, Donald Parham ended up signing a one year deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.Unfortunately, the 28 year old tore his Achilles during OTAs which landed him on injured reserve as the season ended for him.Interestingly, Donald Parham was vocal about how Mike Tomlin was one of the reasons he had chosen to sign a deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers.Back in April 2025, as per Steleers Takeaways, Donald Parham said, βI met Coach Tomlin years ago at the Senior Bowl β I felt like he was a coach I could see myself playing for.βHe added, βAnd my first year with the Chargers, Alfredo Roberts was my tight ends coach. I really liked him. When I knew he was in Pittsburgh it was a done deal for me β I had no hesitation. I am looking forward to playing for both coaches.βWith Mike Tomlin gone, all eyes are on whether there could be a possible reunion between the Pittsburgh Steelers and Donald Parham after a brutal season.
