Actor Jagadish, known for his comedic roles, is being praised by close friend Appa Haja for his serious approach to life and his family’s achievements. Haja, who shared screen space with Jagadish in ‘In Harihar Nagar’, revealed he once suggested remarriage to the actor, who humorously dismissed the idea.
Jagadish continues to remain a familiar and admired presence among Malayalam cinema audiences and recently he had played several character roles from ‘Falimy’ to ‘Marco’, that really explored his acting potential. Jagadish and Appa Haja share a friendship that dates back many years. Their bond began during the time of the film ‘In Harihar Nagar’, which marked the start of a lasting connection. In the comedy film Appa Haja played a police character.While audiences often associate Jagadish with humor, Haja emphasized a different side of the actor in an interview with Movie World Media.According to him, Jagadish approaches life with seriousness and clarity, which contrasts with his on-screen persona which is majorly comedy roles.
Close family ties
Appa Haja also spoke about his close relationship with Jagadish’s family members. He highlighted how he has known them since childhood and shared many personal moments with them.“Jagadish ettan is not a comedian like you see in films. His wife Rama was the head of forensic (department).
She was a highly respected woman. Both his children are well settled. I have known them since childhood.”
Appa Haja suggested remarriage
Haja revealed that he once suggested Jagadish consider remarriage. However, the actor responded with humor, choosing not to take the suggestion seriously.He said, “Rama’s mother was very fond of me. She used to invite me home for meals. I would sit and eat with the three of them. Rama’s mother was a principal. Both of them have passed away. I used to tell Jagadish ettan that he should get married to a good woman. He doesn’t take it seriously. He just laughs. He is someone capable of directing films too. Now he is very active again. There is no time for him to sit idle at home,” said Appa Haja.Coming to the work front, Jagadish is currently basking in the success of the comedy drama ‘Mohiniyattam’ and he will be next seen in Antony Varghese starrer ‘Kattalan’.
