Two criminals arrested with arms in BhojpurPraveenAra: Acting on a tip-off received in the wee hours of Saturday, police in Bhojpur district arrested two criminals, including a history-sheeter, with arms and ammunition.
Police also seized the SUV in which the accused were travelling.Chandi SHO Rakesh Kumar Roushan said on Saturday, “Shortly past midnight, the police received a tip-off about two criminals coming towards Chandi in a white-coloured SUV. Immediately a police team rushed to verify the information and nab the criminals. When the police intercepted the suspected SUV near Khangaon embankment, the criminals hurriedly parked their SUV and started running along the embankment. However the police arrested both of them after a hot chase.
”The arrested criminals were identified as Vikash Kumar (23) and his 19-year-old accomplice Bajrangi Kumar. According to police, Vikash, son of Rambabu Rai of Khangaon village, is a history-sheeter.
