Two students die by suicide after results in Madhya Pradesh

BHOPAL: Two Madhya Pradesh students died by suicide in separate incidents following board exam results declaration Wednesday. In Chhindwara’s Parasia, 17-year-old Saniya, daughter of Satish, checked her Class 10 marks on mobile at her maternal grandparents’ house in Mohan Nagar locality.

Failing three subjects, she entered the bathroom and hanged herself.

Family broke open the door after 30 minutes; district hospital declared her dead. Kotwali police sent body for post-mortem, citing result stress.

In Morena district, 20year-old Hrithik Dandotiya, son of Ambah Education Department employee, failed Class 12 in all subjects. He rode scooter to Kotwal Dam, shot himself in temple with country-made pistol. Matabasaiya police registered case, recovered body for post-mortem.
