16 near Chilakapalem in Etcherla mandal. The mother and son traveling on the bike died instantly in the accident. The deceased have been identified by police as Nagamani (59) and her son Narendra Kumar (32), residents of Jalaripeta in Visakhapatnam. The accident occurred while they were returning to Visakhapatnam after visiting the Arasavalli Sri Suryanarayana Swamy temple in Srikakulam district. As they approached Chilakapalem, overspeeding led to the tragedy. The fast-moving bike crashed into a parked lorry, completely crushing the front portion of the bike. The shocking visuals of the accident were recorded on a nearby CCTV camera. Etcherla police have registered a case and are investigating the incident. The bodies have been shifted to Srikakulam Government General Hospital (GGH) for postmortem.
