WWE presented the fallout episode of SmackDown for WrestleMania 42 from the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The show featured NXT stars making their main roster debuts, a new champion crowned at a significant show, and a destructive scene at the end.
What happened in the opening segment of WWE SmackDown ?
Jacob Fatu opened the show to address his confrontation with Roman Reigns on RAW. The Usos interrupted him, and all three were later confronted by Solo Sikoa and The MFTs. This led to a match between Sikoa and Fatu being made official for later that night.
Tiffany Stratton vs. Giulia
Giulia, accompanied by Kiana James, defended her WWE Women’s United States Championship against Tiffany Stratton. Both women go back and forth against each other and hit major moves.
In the end, Stratton escaped the Northern Lights Bomb and delivered the Prettiest Moonsault Ever to win the match and become the new champion.
Paige & Brie Bella vs. Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss
The match came after an in-ring segment between both sides for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships. Moreover, this was Paige’s first match on SmackDown after returning to WWE at WrestleMania 42. However, the exciting showdown was interrupted by the arrival of NXT stars Jacy Jayne and her cohorts, Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley, who attacked all four stars.
Damian Priest & R-Truth vs. Tama Tonga & JC Matteo

The Miz vs. Danhausen

Rhea Ripley vs. Jacy Jayne
This was Jacy Jayne’s debut match on SmackDown. She put up a valiant effort against the new WWE Women’s Champion, Rhea Ripley, and the match led to huge ‘This is Awesome’ chants. Despite such a brilliant match being delivered, Jayne’s allies, Lainey Reid and Fallon Henley, interfered and beat down Ripley to end the match in a Disqualification.
Solo Sikoa vs. Jacob Fatu
The match was the main event bout of the night. Solo Sikoa was accompanied by The MFTs, while Jacob Fatu refused The Usos to join his side. However, they still came out in the middle of the match. The hard-hitting bout saw Fatu defeat Solo with a Mighty Moonsault. MFTs tried to attack him, but Fatu took all of them out with a steel chair, as The Usos stood on the apron to watch. Also read: PSL toss turns WWE!
