Dumka: A 19-year-old boy was found dead in a village under Mahagama police station limits of the district on Friday. The deceased Subhanshu Mandal, a resident of Mandal Tola in Sirsa village, was found in a field within the hamlet in the morning.
He had left home on Thursday evening.Mahagama subdivisional police officer Chandrashekhar Azad and officer in charge of local police station Manoj Kumar Pal led a police team to begin probe. Mandal’s clothes were found a short distance away from his body. “Prima facie, the case appears to be a murder,” Azad said, adding that multiple injury marks and dark bruises were found on the victim’s body.
