Bangladesh: 25-year-old Hindu youth burnt to death in Narsingdi (Representational image)
Dumka: The body of a 25-year-old youth was recovered from an abandoned stone quarry at Shaharkol village in Pakur district on Friday. Villagers spotted the body of the victim, Kanhu Kisku, resident of Sonajodi Tola village under same police station, floating in water and informed the police.
Police said the youth reportedly left his home four days ago and did not return. His family had been searching for him, but his whereabouts remained unknown until his body was discovered.“The body has been sent for post-mortem and no written complaint has been filed by the family so far,” the officer in-charge of the town Police Station, Anil Kumar Gupta, said.
