The consignment, brought from Haryana, was seized on suspicion, and samples were sent for laboratory testing.

Meerut: Food safety department in Hapur destroyed nearly 15,000 kg of adulterated honey worth around Rs 22 lakh, officials said. The case dates back to Jan 6, when a team of the Food Safety and Drug Administration (FSDA), led by assistant commissioner Sunil Kumar, conducted a raid at a warehouse in the district. The consignment, brought from Haryana, was seized on suspicion, and samples were sent for laboratory testing.
