NTA CUET PG 2026 results released, check scorecard and university admission process
CUET PG result 2026: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the CUET PG 2026 result on April 24, 2026. The aspirants who gave the exam can check their results at the official site examinations.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg by entering their application number and date of birth.The result has been released after the evaluation process with respect to the final answer key. The test was held in Computer Based Test mode for admissions to postgraduate courses in central, state, private, and other institutions.
Conducted in multiple shifts for different subjectsThe CUET PG 2026 test was organized from March 6 to March 30, 2026, in multiple shifts. It was for 157 subjects and conducted through the CBT mode across the nation for the admission process of postgraduate courses.According to official records, 4,11,366 unique applicants applied for the test, while 3,45,220 candidates appeared for the same. The gender-wise distribution reveals that there were 2,32,965 female candidates applying for it, with 1,98,060 appearing, and 1,78,391 male candidates applying, out of which 1,47,151 appeared for the test. There were also a few Third Gender candidates.
The category-wise data reveals that there were 1,60,099 registrations and 1,31,748 appearances of the General category. The OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates had the maximum participation with a registration of 1,37,809 and 1,18Participation in subjects in 157 coursesThere was an increased participation of subjects with 7,14,621 subject enrollments and 5,04,301 attendances in all subjects.
The female students enrolled in 4,05,905 subjects and attended 2,92,069 subjects, whereas male students enrolled in 3,08,697 subjects and attended 2,12,220 subjects.In categories, the general category had 2,75,716 subject enrollments and 1,90,177 attendances, whereas OBC category had 2.
Results based on final answer key evaluationThe results have been processed after considering all the objections that had been lodged against the provisional answer key released from 11th April to 14th April 2026.
Students were given the opportunity to raise any objections in respect of the questions through their respective objection forms during the designated time period.After the evaluation of all objections by experts, the answer key was finally prepared for the purpose of evaluation of results.Details of Score Card and Admission ProcessCUET PG 2026 score card carries various information about candidates like Name, Roll Number, Application Number, Marks of each subject, normalized scores, percentile and qualifying information of candidates.Total 198 universities will be participating in CUET PG 2026 admission procedure, out of which 45 central universities, 40 state universities, 24 government universities and 89 private and deemed universities will participate.Approximately 45 central universities, including University of Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University and Jamia Millia Islamia, will consider the scores of CUET PG for admitting students in their university programs.
Various state universities like Delhi Technological University and Dr BR Ambedkar University Delhi will also admit students through this test.Process of Counselling and selection for UniversitiesFor the preparation of the merit list, each participating university will take it up independently based on the CUET PG 2026 scores. They will also announce their respective cut-off marks and conduct counseling individually.As per the statement released by NTA, they will confine themselves to conducting the test, releasing results, and distributing the scorecard to candidates. Admission procedures will depend upon the concerned universities.The CUET PG Score will be valid for the year 2026-27 only.
