The arrest of Dayton Webber has left many people stunned. The 27-year-old pro cornhole player is facing serious charges after police say he shot and killed Bradrick Michael Wells in Maryland last Sunday.

Investigators say the incident happened inside a Tesla SUV in La Plata. According to police, Webber then drove away with Wells still in the car before the body was later found in a yard in Charlotte Hall. He was later taken into custody at a hospital in Virginia. What makes the case even more shocking for many is Webber’s condition. He lost both arms and both legs as a baby due to a severe infection. Because of this, many people online questioned how the incident could have happened.

However, new claims from someone who knew him closely are now changing how people see the situation.

I did.”She added, “For four years, I saw the side of him that nobody else wanted to believe existed. The anger. The control. The abuse. The kind of darkness you don’t just ‘mistake.’ The kind that makes you feel unsafe in your own home, in your own skin.”Meanwhile, details from charging documents reported by Daily Mail say the shooting happened after a heated argument inside the car.

A detective from the Charles County Sheriff’s Office stated that Webber allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Wells twice in the head. Two witnesses in the back seat refused to help move the body and ran away. Police say Webber then drove off before the body was later found.Webber is now facing first and second-degree murder charges, along with a firearms charge. Authorities say he acted “feloniously, willfully and with deliberately premeditated malice.” He is currently waiting to be taken back to Maryland for further legal action.
