As per the latest reports, a live-action film is in development, and ‘Euphoria’ fame Sydney Sweeney has been confirmed to play one of the leading roles in the film.
Sydney Sweeney joins ‘Gundam’ cast for live-action film
Netflix confirmed that famed actress Sydney Sweeney will play a role in the upcoming live action for the popular anime ‘Gundam.’ Along with Sweeney, ‘Harry Potter’ film fame star Jason Isaacs, who is best known for playing Lucius Malfoy, will also be joining the cast. Noah Centino from ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’ has also been confirmed as one of the leading cast members. Other cast members include Jackson White, Shioli Kutsuna, Nonso Anozie, Michael Mando, Javon ‘Wanna’ Walton, Oleksandr Rudynskyi, Ida Brooke and Gemma Chua-Tran.The official log line for the upcoming OTT film reads, “As shifting allegiances and a growing threat set them on a collision course for one another. They’re pulled into a high-stakes race across the stars that could define the fate of humanity. With awe-inspiring battles, intimate human emotion, and an epic cinematic scale, this is Gundam like it’s been seen before.”
