Low or degraded coolant increases the risk of overheating, while components such as radiators, fans and hoses are placed under added stress, potentially leading to breakdowns.Battery performance can also decline in hot conditions. Elevated temperatures speed up fluid evaporation, weakening internal components and shortening lifespan.
Vehicles parked outdoors for long periods are more susceptible, with signs including slow cranking and reduced electrical performance. Tyres face increased risk as heat raises air pressure and road temperatures. This can lead to blowouts, particularly at higher speeds.
