Infosys ropes in 7-time Grand Slam Champion Carlos Alcaraz as global brand ambassador

IT services company Infosys on Wednesday announced that it has signed seven-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz as its global brand ambassador.The company said it will work with Alcaraz and his coaching team using Infosys Topaz, an AI-first offering powered by generative and agentic AI technologies, to develop AI-based match analytics and a personalised performance application to support match preparation and in-game strategy.The partnership will also include joint initiatives between Infosys and the Carlos Alcaraz Foundation to use technology for social impact, with a focus on tech-for-good initiatives.Infosys said the collaboration brings together a champion athlete and a technology company, linking performance in tennis with AI-led innovation in business.“Infosys…today announced a multi-year partnership with the youngest athlete ever to achieve the world number one ranking in men’s tennis Carlos Alcaraz, welcoming him as its Global Brand Ambassador,” the company said in a release.Alcaraz has won seven Grand Slam titles and is the youngest player to reach world number one in men’s tennis. He is also the youngest man to complete a career Grand Slam.The company said Alcaraz is known for his drive, consistency and approach to the sport, which align with its focus on leadership and innovation.“These are the values that guide Infosys – responsible leadership and excellence in innovation to amplify human potential and power global enterprises,” the release said.
