Kishore is donning a police uniform yet again in a suspense thriller helmed by Sivanesan S titled Game Play. The film, we hear, is centred around financial crime and Kishore plays an assistant commissioner.The director tells us that Game Play will revolve around conflict between Kishore and Heartbeat fame Charukesh’s characters. “They both will have negative and positive qualities. So, you can’t fix either one as the antagonist and protagonist,” he says.Interestingly, though this is his first directorial venture, Sivanesan has already produced a film — the 2019 thriller Kaalidas . The filmmaker, who is also producing Game Play along with directing it, says, “I naturally have an interest in screenplay-driven suspense thrillers.
That drew me to this subject.” Talking about taking on dual responsibilities, he states, “I don’t view direction and producing as two different things.
Both require good planning. The pre-production, budgeting, scheduling, etc. have to be strong before you get into a film.”

Shali Nivekas, Vinod Kishan and Charlee also star in the film. Meanwhile, Kaalidas composer Vishal Chandrasekar will be handling this film’s music.
