KRISHNAGIRI: A 45-year-old man was found dead with a severe injury on his head near Hosur in Krishnagiri district on Friday.Locals found the body in a secluded area near Nallur Agraharam and informed police.
Police reached the spot and identified the deceased as Vijayakumar, 45, of Valluvar Nagar in Hosur.
Police said the man might have been beaten to death. “The exact cause of his death will be known only after we get the postmortem report,” said district superintendent of police P Thangadurai who visited the spot.The Nallur police registered a case and began investigations.
