Youth dies in Sheikhpura road accident

In a heart-wrenching incident on the Sheikhpura-Barbigha main road in Nalanda, the life of 20-year-old Mohammad Mijan was tragically cut short. His motorcycle tragically collided with a temple wall near the Ratoiya river bridge. Despite the valiant efforts of a local teacher who rushed him to the hospital, Mijan could not be saved from his grave injuries.

Biharsharif: A youth died in a road accident on Sheikhpura-Barbigha main road in Nalanda district on Friday. The accident took place when his motorcycle crashed into the wall of a temple located by the roadside.Immediately after the accident, a local teacher, Sanjeev Kumar, rushed to the spot and transported the injured youth Mohammad Mijan to the sadar hospital on an e-rickshaw, however, he succumbed to his injuries during treatment.Mohammad Mijan, son of Mohammad Majosa alias Abdul Majid, was a resident of Bazidpur village under Nagar police station area. According to his elder brother, Mohammad Raja, Mijan had left home to go to the market when the accident occurred near the sharp turn on the Ratoiya river bridge.Upon receiving information about the accident, ASI Lal Babu Mahto along with a police team reached the sadar hospital. The family members later took the body home without conducting a postmortem, and the burial is scheduled to take place at a local cemetery.Traffic station in charge Sadashiv Saha said further action will be taken once a written complaint is received in this regard.
