Jamshedpur: A 22-year-old man was arrested for killing a man who reportedly harassed his elder sister persistently, the police said on Thursday. The accused Madho Hessa, a resident of Chandbunia village under Kumardungi police station limits, attacked Sagu Hembram (38) with an axe for harassing his 28-year-old sister on Wednesday.
Hembram was taken to the community health centre in Kumardungi, where he died of his injuries.Jagannathpur subdivisional police officer Raphale Murmu said residents of the village informed the police. “Hessa was arrested on Wednesday itself and forwarded to jail today. The accused has admitted to committing the crime,” Murmu said.
