COIMBATORE: Southern Railway has announced changes in train services on April 2 and 3 due to engineering work related to the construction of a foot overbridge at Podanur Junction. No. 66611 Mettupalayam–Podanur MEMU, scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 8.20am, will be short-terminated at Coimbatore Junction. No. 66615, Mettupalayam–Podanur MEMU, scheduled to leave Mettupalayam at 1.05 pm, will be short-terminated at Coimbatore Junction. No. 66612, Podanur–Mettupalayam MEMU, scheduled to depart Podanur Junction at 9.40am, will instead originate from Coimbatore Junction at 9.55am. No. 66616, Podanur–Mettupalayam MEMU, scheduled to leave Podanur Junction at 3.30 pm, will instead depart from Coimbatore Junction at 3.45pm. No. 16721, Coimbatore–Madurai Express, scheduled to leave Coimbatore Junction at 2.30 pm, will be rescheduled to depart at 3pm on both these days.
