Anupama’s world crumbles with job loss and public shame, making her doubt if life’s fair. Meanwhile, Mahi vanishes during a family feud, putting her in grave danger. Paul attacks Anupama, but Digvijay steps in. Mahi tries to hurt herself, forcing a confrontation with Gautam. Anupama begs to remain for Jaya’s well-being.
‘Anupamaa’ opens with Anupama walking alone, shattered, replaying the humiliation of losing her job over a theft accusation she had nothing to do with. She finds herself at a temple and does something raw and completely human: she questions God out loud.
She tells him she thought she was on his side and believed he would fight for her. She asks what she did wrong to deserve this. She says her faith is not broken, but that does not mean God should keep testing her endlessly. She talks about struggling to find a job, finally getting one, and being thrown out in disgrace. She questions how God can give her the responsibility of raising Jaya and then leave her without the means to do it.
And then, in the same breath, she tells herself to get back up anyway.
Mahi goes missing
At the Kothari house, Rahi cannot reach Mahi on the phone and begins to panic. Things in Mahi’s room are scattered. Meeta and Pari ask if she is sure Mahi actually left. Rahi confronts Gautam directly, asking what he did. Vasundhara steps in to defend him. Rahi tells Vasundhara that Gautam shows one face in front of her and another behind her back. Vasundhara turns on Rahi instead of listening.
Prem steps in to calm Rahi down and promises they will find her.
Paul brings the fight to Anupama’s door
Anupama returns to Saavi Villa and tells Banku and Jaya what happened, explaining that Paul and Rossi are behind her losing the job and that Paul is determined to stop her from working anywhere in Goa. Before the conversation can go further, Paul, Rossi, and a group of people arrive at the house to confront her publicly. Anupama asks Paul what he wants. He tells her he wants her out of the city, accusing her of taking jobs that belong to locals.
Rossi joins in, claiming Anupama tried to take her position too. Paul raises his hand and slaps Banku when he tries to intervene. Anupama sends Jaya inside and locks the door.Paul tries to break Digvijay’s flower pot, and Anupama rushes out to save it. Rossi and Paul decide to grab her and physically throw her out. Anupama falls to the floor.
Digvijay steps in
Digvijay appears and places himself between Anupama and Paul. Paul tells him to back off.
Digvijay asks them to leave and warns them not to return. Paul then says something that cuts deeper than anything else in the episode: he tells Digvijay he is threatening him the way he killed his own daughter. Rossi follows up by calling Anupama a thief and questioning why Digvijay would shelter her. Digvijay does not flinch. He tells Paul he can think whatever he wants and asks him to leave.
Paul delivers a final warning to Anupama before going.Anupama thanks Digvijay for stepping in. His response is immediate and hard: she cannot stay in his house.
Mahi at the edge
Rahi finally locates Mahi. Mahi tells her that what Gautam did to Prarthan, he is now doing to her, and she refuses to go back. Rahi suggests she stay with Prerna. Mahi says Gautam will find her there. Rahi suggests the Shah’s house. Mahi refuses that, too. Then, in the episode’s most alarming moment, Mahi tries to harm herself.
Prem and Rahi stop her immediately. Prem tells Rahi that Gautam is dangerous and will not spare anyone, and the two of them decide it is time to deal with him directly.
Anupama begs to stay for Jaya
Digvijay tells Anupama to return to Ahmedabad. Anupama pleads with him, telling him she cannot abandon Jaya and has nowhere else to go. Banku asks Digvijay why he is punishing both Anupama and Jaya for something Paul has done. Digvijay tells him he wants peace in his home.
Anupama, running out of options, makes one final request: let Jaya stay, and she will sleep outside.The episode ends on that plea, unanswered.Precap: Digvijay asks Banku to bring a broomstick. Jaya tells Anupama that Digvijay is angry again. Anupama goes in to speak to him and Digvijay asks her to bring the stick herself. Anupama steps into Saavi Café and is stopped in her tracks by how beautiful it is, calling it more beautiful than a dream.
